Editorial Standards

ShowU publishes practical, step-by-step guides designed to help readers complete real tasks safely and confidently.

How we create guides

Every guide is built around one specific problem. Editors check instructions against first-party documentation, reliable technical sources and practical evidence before publication.

AI assistance

Artificial intelligence may assist with research, drafting or illustration. AI output is never treated as a source and is not published without human review. Editors verify claims, steps, interface labels, parts and safety states before a guide goes live.

Safety and lawful use

Electrical, vehicle-safety and account-security guides include warnings and clear stop conditions. Higher-risk guides require an appropriately qualified reviewer. ShowU does not publish instructions for unauthorized access, bypassing security or illegal activity.

Images and demonstrations

Images must explain the actual task. AI-assisted visuals are reviewed to ensure they do not invent controls, components or unsafe conditions. We label generated or illustrative images when the context requires it.

Updates and corrections

We update guides when products, interfaces or recommended procedures change. Material revisions are reflected in the visible updated date. To report an error or request a correction, email [email protected].

Sources and attribution

We prefer manufacturer documentation, service providers, standards bodies and other primary sources. Sources used to verify a guide are listed on the article whenever they materially support the instructions.
