Complete the nine Military Camo challenges in sequence
Start with the first available Military Camo challenge and complete exactly what its card requests. Black Ops 7’s launch camo structure uses nine Military Camos for each weapon, earned sequentially. The next challenge remains unavailable until the current one is finished.
Read the requirement before each match and use the mode, damage type, weapon state, or other condition named on the card. Do not assume that ordinary eliminations satisfy a challenge that specifies a particular action.
After the relevant action occurs, check the counter on the post-match screen or return to the weapon’s Camos page. Success looks like an increased counter, a completed badge, or the next Military Camo becoming available.
Finish the weapon-specific Mastery Camo challenge
Once all nine Military Camos for one weapon are complete, return to that weapon’s Camos page. Its unique Mastery Camo challenge should now be available according to the documented progression order.
Read this challenge separately from the Military Camo requirements. It is a new objective, not a replacement for the earlier counters. Complete the displayed condition, then revisit the same page to confirm the Mastery Camo shows as earned or selectable.
Apply this process to another weapon only after confirming the first weapon’s reward. Mastery progress is tied to the weapon or progression group shown by the game; do not assume progress transfers between unrelated weapons.
Verify the camo is unlocked and permanently available
Select the completed camo from the weapon’s Camos list and check that it is marked available rather than preview-only or locked. If the visual changes on the weapon preview, the reward has been applied to that weapon.
For a durable completion record, leave the Camos page and reopen it, or inspect the weapon again from the loadout screen. The same reward should remain listed without a countdown or event deadline.
Seasonal and event camos may use separate objectives and availability rules. Exclude them when tracking permanent weapon-camo progress.
Fix a camo counter that does not move
First compare the challenge card with what you completed. Check the selected weapon, the required action, the required mode, and any condition that must be active during the attempt. A counter that remains unchanged usually means one of those conditions was not met.
If the counter changed during the match but the reward is missing, finish the match, return to the Camos page, and allow the post-match results to load. Reopen the weapon screen before starting another challenge.
If the page still shows no progress, capture the exact requirement and current counter, then restart the game normally and check the same weapon again. Do not repeat hours of progress until the displayed objective and counter agree.
Stop: if the objective is tied to a dated event, the permanent Military-to-Mastery route is not the correct track for that reward.
